A glass art collection displayed with precision
For homeowners displaying an eleven-piece glass art collection valued at $150,000, every detail behind the wall mattered. Coppola Brothers coordinated the concealed support, precise placement, wall finish, and specialist lighting to give the collection a carefully composed setting within the home.
- Support tailored to each piece. We opened the entire wall, installed internal blocking, and calculated each individual hanger location to accommodate the artwork’s weight and unique mounting points.
- A backdrop that keeps attention on the art. A smooth Level 5 wall finish and paint selected for low reflectivity helped control distracting reflections behind the glass.
- Lighting selected for the collection. We worked with an art-lighting specialist to specify brightness and color temperature, coordinating the illumination with the wall finish and artwork.
Careful handling of the valuable glass pieces carried that same attention through installation, so the homeowners could enjoy the composition with its supporting work concealed.
